Morgan was featured in the Safe Sex for Men and Women informative video about AIDS prevention and education. The proceeds from the film were donated toward the American Foundation for AIDS Research. Morgan is a member of the Entertainment Industry AIDS Task Force. Morgan was the driving force behind many fund-raising campaigns for the spread of the disease. She also spoke before a Congressional special committee that focused on AIDS education. She sits member of the board of Governors of APLA and Board of Directors of Amfar. Former Surgeon-General C. Everett Koop has requested her to substitute for him during AIDS celebrations and she's hosted an AIDS Awareness Special featuring anchorman Steve Bell. Ted Koppell interviewed Morgan twice for Nightline about AIDS. Morgan was nominated for the Emmys for Diane English's Murphy Brown special written especially specifically for Morgan. Morgan co-starred on the ABC show Your Money or Your Wife with Joan Rivers. This summer's premiere was Murder At The PTA Luncheon. It was directed by Von Zerneck/Sertner, and also featured Cindy Williams & Marla Gibbs. The next film she was in brought her to Luxembourg to star in Harmony Gold's production Sherlock Holmes and the Leading Lady with Christopher Lee and Patrick McNee. Morgan also played in an action-packed psychological thriller created exclusively for USA Network. This thriller was a huge success and earned the top ratings of all time for that network.
